Two methods: only one tool
The first method is with the filter facing downward, which allows the coffee to percolate. The second, called Inverted, requires brewing by turning the instrument with the filter upward.
1
The Aeropress consists of tubing with two filters, one plastic and one disposable paper, and a second part with a rubber seal (like a syringe) that is used to create pressure.
2
Heat the water to a temperature of 92°-96°C.
3
Insert the paper filter into the plastic filter holder.
4
Wet the filter with hot water to remove the paper taste and make the filter adhere to the filter holder.
5
Mount the filter on the bottom of the Aeropress.
6
Grind coffee to a medium-fine particle size (Moka coffee will also do).
7
Pour coffee into Aeropress.
8
Fill the Aeropress with 200g of hot water.
9
After about 1:30 min stir the drink.
10
Insert the plunger a few inches into the Aeropress and pull it out slightly to create a depression that will not allow the coffee to fall into the cup (as is done with an injection syringe).
11
Begin to gently move the plunger downward to extract the coffee.
12
Press the plunger all the way down to complete the extraction directly into the serving cup.
