That is why we rely on independent bodies that regularly check our production methods, the quality of our products and the rigour of our controls. Our certifications are IFS Food, Espresso Italiano Certificato (Istituto Espresso Italiano), EU organic and USDA Organic, and Fairtrade.
Certified Italian Espresso
Our dedicated espresso blends strictly adhere to the technical requirements of the Italian Espresso Institute, which is why they can display the "Certified Italian Espresso" mark.
Filicori Zecchini is proudly affiliated with the Italian Espresso Institute, an authority that promotes and protects the authenticity of Italian espresso around the world. This certification attests that our coffee is prepared according to Italian coffee-making traditions, guaranteeing high quality espresso and authentic taste.
IFS Food Standard
With this certification we have improved safety levels for customers, consumers and suppliers.
The IFS Food Standard certification is an international recognition of the high level of food safety and quality of our products. This certification ensures that every stage of the production process, from raw material selection to processing, meets strict standards of hygiene, traceability and quality.
EU Organic and USDA Organic Certification
Organic certification confirms that the coffee in our organic blends is grown with organic methods, without synthetic chemical pesticides and fertilisers, and is checked along the whole supply chain. We are controlled organic operator no. 13000 (control body IT-BIO-014).
Fairtrade Certification
Fairtrade certification guarantees coffee producers a minimum price and an additional premium to invest in their communities. We are a Fairtrade operator with FLO ID 38246, certified by FLOCERT.
