Grown by Burtukan, an independent Yirgacheffe producer, this coffee grows in the shade of false banana plants, which protect the coffee trees and create a naturally balanced microclimate. Harvesting is entirely by hand, with careful selection of ripe cherries. Through the Ama Commitment programme, Burtukan also supports income diversification and the development of the local community.
