Neapolitan flair and passion, great dedication and commitment: these are the ingredients that characterize Salvatore Gabbiano's successful path in the world of Haute Pastry.
He has been a member of the Neapolitan Pastry Chefs Association since 1994. In March 2006 he achieved one of the most coveted goals for a pastry chef in Italy: he is among the masters of the prestigious Accademia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani (Italian Pastry Masters Academy). On TV he participates in La vecchia fattoria, Festa italiana, 30 hours for life, La vita in diretta. In 2004 he is in the team of pastry chefs who create the world's largest chocolate Nativity scene for Eurochocolate Christmas in Naples.
He has a real passion for large leavened goods, which leads him to compete and win on numerous occasions. In 2015 in Turin he participated in "A Mole of Panettone" and won first prize for best creative panettone. In March 2016 he participates in "Spring is Sweet," the first event on the Dove, organized by Stanislao Porzio, and wins first place for "Best Traditional Dove." In 2016, he joined the group of pastry chefs of "Night of the Masters of the Mother Yeast," which aims to deseasonalize quality panettone, to make it available all year round. In October 2019, during Host Milano, he received the "critics' award" as the best panettone in the World, at the first edition of the "Panettone World Championship."
