Explore the exclusivity and elegance of Panama Specialty Coffee Finca El Salto, a gem produced in the renowned Boquete region in the north of the country on the slopes of Baru Volcano, Panama's highest peak. Founded back in 1900 as a family business by Mr. Abdeljat Suad, originally from Jerusalem and locally renamed Domingo Suarez, Finca El Salto is a testament to tradition and passion passed down through the generations.
The history of this plantation began with the marriage of Mr. Suarez and Mrs. Antonia Serranno, from which six children were born who continue the family's work. The company has grown from its humble beginnings, initially planting 70,000 coffee plants, to become one of Boquete's excellences.
Located in the rolling hills of Boquete, Finca El Salto boasts a variety of coffee plants including Typica, Geisha and Catuai. The process used is washed, which ensures maximum cleanliness and purity of the beans. After harvesting, the coffee is gently placed on "African beds" to dry in the sun, thus capturing all the rich flavors of the land.
The soil rich in sandy clay and minerals, combined with the high humidity in the region, creates an ideal environment for coffee to grow and develop. The result is a delicate, sweet coffee enriched with notes of hazelnut, an enveloping creaminess and a hint of vanilla.
Discover the pure and authentic coffee essence of Panama Specialty Coffee Finca El Salto, a sensory journey that captures the soul of Boquete and its unique territory.
