Wegida Yirgacheffe Heirloom Natural Ethiopia is the most authentic expression of the Ethiopian highlands. In the cup, this coffee is clear and bright, characterized by delicate notes of chamomile, mandarin, and cherry. The sweetness of honey and sugar accompanies a smooth finish of cocoa, resulting in a complex, floral, and perfectly balanced cup.

Origin and Terroir

Grown on the highlands of Yirgacheffe, in the Wegida region, this Arabica coffee thrives in the shade of false banana trees, which protect the plants and foster a naturally balanced microclimate. Here, at an altitude of 2,150 meters, cultivation follows sustainable practices, and harvesting is done entirely by hand, with careful selection of ripe cherries. Through the Ama Commitment program, the independent producer Burtukan also supports income diversification and the development of the local community.
