Christopher Columbus, the great explorer from Genoa known as Colombo in Italy, was the first seaman to cross the Atlantic Ocean. As everyone knows, the aim of his first expedition was to reach Asia sailing towards the West, but his caravels reached the yet unexplored coasts of what is now San Salvador and Cuba. It was October 1492. To Columbus we dedicate this praline that encapsulates the pleasure of a Cuban excellence: rum.
